Ayesha Gulalai Wazir (; ) is a Pakistani activist-politician and the Member of National Assembly representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on a reserved seat for women.〔("Making history: Vernal parliamentarian set to shine on political stage" ), ''tribune.com.pk''.〕 Ayesha was born and raised in Bannu city. She is a PTI MNA on reserved seats for women from Khyber Paktunkhwa. Her family moved from Bannu to Peshawar when her father was transferred there. Prior to joining PTI, Ayesha has served as the Chief Coordinator of the Pakistan Peoples Party for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and was also briefly part of All Pakistan Muslim League. Her sister is Maria Turpakai who is a ranked woman’s squash player, who applied for asylum and moved to Canada after receiving “threats” from the “Taliban”.
